$90,000 - $95,000

THE ROLE
A key individual contributor within the FP&A function supporting regional business lines with financial reporting, data analytics, and business partnering across multiple divisions.
  • Data Analytics (50%)
  • Management Reporting (30%)
  • Stakeholder Management (20%)
THE TASKS
Data Analytics
  • Collect, clean, and organize financial data from multiple sources for analysis
  • Create and maintain dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders
  • Apply business rules and develop algorithms to support forecasting models
  • Prepare and maintain weekly forecasting outputs and supporting commentary
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and pattern recognition to identify business trends
Management Reporting
  • Manage financial reporting through TM1 and internal operational databases
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for corporate and head office submissions
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare financial commentary on results
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with divisional teams to source data and business commentary
  • Support business partnering activities with management teams and contribute to annual planning processes

THE EXPECTATIONS TIMELINE PREVIEW
By Month 1
  • Complete a full review of all standard operating procedures and existing processes
  • Gain familiarity with daily tasks and the weekly forecasting cadence to operate without hand-holding
  • Understand current reporting structures, tools, and data sources
  • Build initial relationships with immediate team members
By Month 3
  • Navigate TM1 and dashboarding tools independently to locate data and answers without prompting
  • Understand the business well enough to provide meaningful commentary on financial results
  • Build working relationships with divisional contacts for sourcing data and business partnering
  • Handle routine reporting and forecasting tasks with minimal oversight
By Month 6
  • Operate with minimal guidance and demonstrate proactive problem solving before escalating
  • Begin contributing to dashboard development and data visualization initiatives
  • Manage assigned workstreams end-to-end with limited direction
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen across supported divisions
By Month 12
  • Drive process improvements and make recommendations that break the status quo
  • Take full ownership of assigned workstreams from beginning to end without hesitation
  • Become a subject matter specialist in at least one key area of the function
  • Deliver measurable productivity and efficiency improvements to existing processes
THE SKILL SET
  • CPA designation or near completion
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive FP&A or finance experience at a senior level
  • Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with data analytics and dashboarding tools
